Bali is one of the
exotic islands in Indonesia. It is located along the string
of islands that make up the Indonesian archipelago. It's adjacent
to Java.
Bali
has an area of 5620 sq.km. measuring approximately 140km by
80 km. The island is dramatically mountainous - the central
mountain chain includes several peaks around 2000 mts. Gunung
Agung known as the 'Mother Mountain`, is over 3000 mts high.
But the USP of Bali is its temples and beaches. Bali has an
endless coastline territory of unspoilt beautifull beaches.
Bali has a tropical climate.
Being just 8 degrees south of the equator - the average temperature
hovers around 30 degrees Celsius all the year around.
Bali has direct international flights from all the South East
Asian cities namely Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and
is served by a number of international airlines. The airport
at Denpasar is easily located near the hub of the activity.
Bali boasts of all kinds of resorts suitable for all price
brackets. The most exoic resorts are on the beach side in
Kuta, Sanur, Tanjong Benoa and Nusa Dua all in the Southern
Peninsula. However the top end resorts are in Nusa Dua a newly
developed area.
The feel of Bali is magic, like the morning of the world.
So fresh, it is simply glorious. The Balinese people are particularly
charming...they smile and are appreciative.
You can hire a car and take off on your own into the country,
because everything you see is graphic and interesting. Every
Balinese is an artist, a dancer, a musician, a sculptor or
a painter. For instance, when your waiter brings you breakfast,
it's set out like a work of art. The orchids are placed around
your muesli in a way that you'll never have seen before. Every
plate of food is something you feel you ought to frame and
put on the wall. Whatever the Balinese do is beautiful.
